Gratefully Yours

Title: Gratefully Yours

Description: Have we been chasing our ambition and goals at full speed?

New opportunities? Seize them. Difficult dilemmas? Move past them. Painful failures? Ignore them. Everything and anything to get us to where we want to be in life, so much so that our experience can be reducible to a single measure: our productivity.

God often has a different idea of how and where we should be heading. There are times He wants us to stop and smell the flowers, trudge and persevere through the ridges, run and feel the breeze on mountain tops, and even, trek down the damp ravine.

While they may look like complete detours to us at times, they are all part of His plans to help us experience the abundant life we crave. He wants to show us that the end is not only at the summit, but Himself.

He wants to fashion a grateful heart in us that says “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want” (Psalm 23:1).
