We accept Him as our Saviour, we’re on fire for Him, and before long, we get into the rhythm of attending Bible studies and church, forgetting the reasons why we’re doing this in the first place.

Today is Good Friday, and we are again invited to look upon Jesus as He hung from the tree, and to chew on the implications of His death for us.

Take a moment as you scroll through to contemplate His passion, and why He chose to go through it for us. Let it reach the deepest recesses of our hearts, so that we may be filled once again with awe at how much He loves us.

Artist Feature

John Joven is an illustrator and painter from Colombia. When he was six, his parents enrolled him in his first painting, sculpture, and character design class. His works have been published in magazines, newspapers, children’s books, and animation projects. When John isn’t busy drawing, he can be found spending time with his family, playing soccer with friends, watching movies, reading, writing, and travelling. He lives with wife, Ana, and two children, Avril and Ian.
