Our God is an amazing Creator. He made our universe -: the things we see every day, the parts we hope to visit, and the areas yet undiscovered…

And He made us. He made us in His likeness. So it makes sense that we enjoy beauty. That we feel at home in the stillness and the wildness of nature. And it makes sense that we want to create beautiful things.

In the world we live, it seems easier to consume than to create. To hide, rather than step out. To be entertained, rather than to make something, hold it out to someone, and say, “Here, I made this.” That takes courage.

I gather courage by looking at God’s creation. , Seeing the beauty that He’s made, and reminding myself that His powerful & creativity Spirit lives in me. It’s hard to feel fearful when I believe in His presence and truth.
