It’s the season of meeting up with friends over nice, hot cuppas. Here’s a unique way to share the Christmas story with our loved ones while enjoying our hot beverages.

All it takes is a marker pen, a cup and a lot of heart.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.” Romans 15:13

“But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.” Luke 2:10

I wanted to pen something that would not just describe what this Christmas season is truly about but also capture how I truly felt.

“For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given.” Isaiah 9:6

As we worship Him this Christmas, may our celebrations be filled with joy and wonder at the fullness of what it means.

“Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.” 2 Corinthians 9:15

I remember that the salvation Christ came to provide is both the gift and the Giver all wrapped up in one. Jesus is our life all year long, and He is the greatest wonder. “O come, let us adore Him!”

“The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us.” John 1:14

When you think of the Babe in the manger, remember that He not only came to live among us, but that he came to live in us – so that we can experience the intimate privileges of His presence.

“When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him.” Matthew 2:10-11

The wise men followed the star which led them to Jesus, our Messiah and Savior. Would you, like them, follow Jesus, today?
