Description: An important aspect of our faith that isn’t often talked about is the confession of sin to community. Which is understandable when we don’t feel like we have a safe space and that we will be judged by others for our sins.

But if we accept that we need to confess to God, then we also accept that our sins need to be brought to light so we can be properly cleansed and restored. Confessing to one another enables us to receive prayer and accountability for areas in which we are most weak and vulnerable.

In Christ, we are all made equal; no one is morally better or worse, no one is qualified to judge, because we are all only recipients of Jesus’s righteousness.
