Made to Relate
Title: Made to Relate
Materials: Graphic Design
Description: As humans, we need to be connected, to be celebrated and to be comforted.
This need to relate is innate.
Because God placed it in us.
We’ve all heard it before – it isn’t where you’re going that matters, it’s the people that make the journey with you. We share with loved ones our interests, goals, experiences, concerns and even struggles. How have you encouraged or been encouraged by someone?
Love is a choice, not a feeling. What does it mean to love your neighbour and what does it take to love someone? Who will you continue to show love to, even when it’s difficult? After all, we love because He first loved us. (1 John 4:19)
Not every day can be a sunny one. But even in our toughest patches of life, God placed people in our lives to walk through these moments with us. How have you stood by those closest to you in their most difficult times? We are called to bear each other’s burdens. (Galatians 6:2)
Should I or shouldn’t I? Godly friends can help us see the pros and cons of potential choices and point us to the best path. How has a friend helped you stay on track? Are we consciously sharpening one another? (Proverbs 27:17)
Man was not made to be alone. Relationships are created for a purpose. Have your relationships made you grow in character and maturity? How can we spur each other towards love and good deeds? (Hebrews 10:24)
The best way to show Christ is through our lives. Often times, it’s precisely because of our lives that people want to know Christ. Do others see Christ in us? Or are we hiding our light under a basket? (Matthew 5:14-16) Let’s glorify Him in all that we do.
