It’s Time to Rethink the Way We Measure Our Worth

Title: It’s Time to Rethink the Way We Measure Our Worth
Artwork by: YMI X @ganggukgangguk
Description: In a world that’s often preoccupied with external measures of worth, how do we value ourselves? Is it based on what we possess, how valuable our opinions are to others, or the level of our self-esteem?

More often than not, we flicker inconsistently between feeling good about ourselves and feeling like we’ve “measured up” to lamenting that we’re falling short and wallowing in self-pity.

Instead of constantly looking inward at ourselves, let’s move forward and look up towards Jesus—the only one who is qualified to value us as worthy. No matter how we feel about ourselves, He calls us worthy. For He chose us in Him before creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight (Ephesians 1:4).
