If you could ask God for just one thing, what would that be?

It’s likely that most of us wouldn’t think to ask to “dwell in the house of the Lord”. But when David wrote this, he knew that the key to facing his biggest fears was to hide in God—and it wasn’t about finding the strongest, safest physical structure but to continuously experience God’s abiding presence and power, so that he may be guided and protected all his days.

Isn’t it immeasurably good to know that no matter where we are and what we’re going through, we can turn to God as our source of security?
