What’s often on your prayer list? Is it a wish list of material blessings we want—strong relationships, stable health, and good health? Or, do we pray to know God more intimately?
In Ephesians 1:11-19, Paul provides us with a beautiful example of how to pray. He
prays that the Ephesians would (1) know God better, (2) have their hearts filled with the great hope they have in Christ, and (3) remember that God’s resurrection power is always at work in them.
This is the key to moving from intellectual understanding to intimacy in our relationship with God.
Why not give it a try?
