No one can serve two masters (ref. Matthew 6:24)

Typography: Matthew 6:24

You might not see yourself as running after money, but Jesus’s words have a wider implication for our hearts.

Are there things you have an outsized love for?

Career, Status, Intelligence, Respect, Relationships, Comfort . . .

Not only are they unable to hold the weight of your allegiance, they are poor substitutes of what your heart yearns for: A God-given sense of purpose and significance.

As you take stock of your life, are there areas where Jesus is saying gently to you: “You can’t serve two masters—choose the right one”?
