But godliness holds promise for life now and the life to come (ref. 1 Timothy 4:8)

Typography: 1 Timothy 4:8

We all have that friend whose social media is filled with videos of them training and beating their personal best. Next to them, we feel like a sack of potatoes.

While physical training is good for us, godliness is even more important. Training in both areas requires determination, yet the fruit of godliness will outlast our physical bodies.

How can we train in godliness? It calls for time spent in God’s Word, long walks with Him in prayer, and habits of obedience. This training may not look glamorous in pictures, but it is the path to life forevermore.
