When a loved one is taken from us, we grieve their passing; we miss their presence, and yearn for the day we can be with them.

But our physical death doesn’t have final say because Jesus defeated death on the cross, saving us from the eternal spiritual death caused by sin (Romans 6:23).

Because Jesus died and rose again, death isn’t the end for us, but the beginning of a new life for all eternity.
