Fight the good fight. Finish the race. Keep the faith. (Ref. 2 Timothy 4:7)

Typography: 2 Timothy 4:7

When what we’re doing at the moment seems pointless, it helps to remind ourselves what lies ahead. We may not get the reward we hope for now, but we have comfort knowing that God promises a greater, lasting reward for our faithfulness.

So we don’t keep fighting just because. We are fighting for a sure thing, and we are on the winning side because Jesus has already won it for us.

PRAY:

Lord, help me to see beyond my present troubles so I can keep my eyes on the prize. I hold on to the promise that one day, it will all be worth it when I get to hear You say, “Well done, good and faithful servant”.
