Typography: 2 Corinthians 8:9

It would never cross our minds to trade our successful and comfortable life for one of poverty and hardship. Yet Jesus swapped His life of glory and richness for one of death and suffering. He “became poor so we might be rich” (2 Corinthians 8:9).

And this richness He offers us is far more precious than material wealth. It comes with forgiveness of sins, abundant grace, and unconditional love. Oh, how rich our lives truly are!

Lord, help me remember how truly rich I am as Your child–and to pour out Your riches to those around me.
