1 Peter 4:8 is more than just a lovely quote to have as our phone lockscreen. The “covering of sins” Peter calls us to isn’t about turning a blind eye to wrongdoings, or pretending everything is okay when someone has hurt or offended us. But it’s about loving others by seeking to address the issue, making room for forgiveness, repentance, and reconciliation to take place.
