In his defense Jesus said to them, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working. For the Father loves the Son and shows Him all he does. Yes, and he will show Him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed."" John 5:17, 20

God continues to work to this day, labouring in love to perfect us in the likeness of His Son, and He is pleased to continue this good work that will bring Him glory.

The best bit is, God invites you to partner with Him in all that He does and delights in.

PRAY:
Lord, show us Your joy in the work that you do, so that our view of work may be magnified, and we’ll be able to see the immense, multi-faceted goodness of all that we do. Revive our apetite for good work and to see true meaning and value as we observe the works of Your hands.
