Typography: Genesis 1:28

We’ve heard of the refrain, “The more competent you are, the more work you get.”

It’s easy to nod in agreement to this, but some of us may feel wary about the ‘getting more work’ part.

But when we look back to how work began, we see that God’s desire is for us to constantly grow in our capacities and the work we do. In fact, God blessed and commanded our first parents to be fruitful and to rule. Talk about a huge and growing responsibility!

With wisdom and grace, let’s embrace growth where we can and think of how we can honour God in our fruitfulness.
