During tough times, it can be hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. A longtime illness, a toxic job, a painful relationship—these and others can make life unbearable.

But for those of us who have received Jesus, He promises He is our light and life. The darkness of the world will never overcome His light, and the life He’s given to us, even death cannot take it away.

If you’re struggling today, look to Jesus and ask for His light that pierces through all darkness.

PRAY:
Father, You have made me Your child, and have sent me Jesus to secure my destiny. Help me to experience the life and light that Jesus gave, that I will not just ‘know’ of this truth but truly live it.
