As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you. John 15:9

Typography: John 15:9

If you keep my commands you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commands and remain in His love. U have told you this so that my joy be in you and that your joy may be complete

Loving one another when it’s hard, forgiving others when it hurts, and doing good when it’s difficult—keeping God’s commandments can be quite a tall order. But it’s His love for us that enables us to obey Him. We won’t always obey perfectly, but His mercy and grace is deep for us.

Obeying God doesn’t leave us empty-handed, and the result of our obedience is joy.

What a wonderful yield that comes out of obeying Him!

REFLECT:
How can we better obey God today? How can we shift the mindset of thinking of God’s commandments as a way of producing joy in our lives, and not squeezing joy out it?
