Typography: Hebrew 12:6-7

Being disciplined by God doesn’t sound very fun. Isn’t He meant to love us just the way we are? But God, our loving Father, desires for us to also grow in maturity and to reach our full potential, and this usually requires some training and discipline along the way.

Each test, trial, or hardship that we face could be God’s way of purifying us, so at the end of it, we’ll “come forth as gold” (Job 23:10). In the midst of it all, we can be assured of His loving hand guiding us through our challenges.
