Let’s face it: friendships can be really tough.

We’ve all felt the sting of broken promises, mismatched expectations, and being disappointed by a friend when you needed him or her the most.

Perhaps we’ve also struggled to be a good friend ourselves.

But in Jesus we have that perfect, reliable, constant friend who sympathises with us, and delights in hearing us call out to Him in prayer.

Even as we look to Him in our time of need, let’s learn what it means to extend true friendship to others through His example.
