Typography: Romans 12:2

Be more “open-minded”. That’s what we’re often told. We are advised to be more receptive to whatever others have to say. While it is important to listen well, the “open-mindedness” we really need as Christians is being receptive to Scripture and the Holy Spirit’s leading.

It can be difficult to surrender our minds to God when we’re set on what we want and what we believe is right. Yet only God has perfect wisdom. We can trust Him who saved us to help us to have right thinking that leads to right living.
