Typography: Psalm 112:7

Do you often find yourself bracing for something bad to happen, anticipating all the worst-case scenarios, thinking it’ll make you more prepared?

Psalm 112 tells us how the righteous—those who belong to God—are unshaken by bad news, not because they’ve made all the backup plans, but because they know that the God who stands with them is powerful, in control, and will care for them.

God does not want us to live in fear, but to do so, we must keep shifting our gaze from the storms and wind to Him who is our Rock and Refuge.
