This Month’s Theme:
Come and See
“Come,” he replied, “and you will see.” So they went and saw where he was staying, and they spent that day with him. It was about four in the afternoon.
John 1:39
Artist’s Reflection
When was the last time you were invited to something? How did that make you feel, knowing that you were invited specifically?
“Come and you will see” (John 1:39). This is the greatest invitation of all time, one that is like no other. It’s an invitation from Jesus to know more of who He is and experience His love.
Jesus promised that He would not turn away anyone who is looking for Him, so don’t wait to accept this invitation. In Matthew 7:7-8, He said “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” So why not come and see who Jesus is for yourself.

It’s a new year! Breathe in the possibilities of the surprising and wonderful ways that God may work in our lives in 2021.
2020 might have been a disorienting and challenging year for us, but 2021 is an opportunity for new beginnings and fresh starts. We’d like to start this year by inviting you to come and see His Kingdom, to taste and savour His love, and to explore and experience all that God has in store for us. This invitation is open to all, so step up and step into a new year filled with God’s goodness.
To help us start the year right, we’re looking for stories about how God is challenging you to fix your eyes on Him in the year ahead, biblical handles and scriptures to inspire us to start the year afresh, and tips to grow closer to Him as we embrace all that this year might bring with it.
If you’ve got a story to share, we’d love to hear it! Check out our writers guidelines and send us your story.
