3 Ways to Face Your Future
What comes to your mind when you think about the future? For many, it holds a bright array of endless possibilities, great expectations, dreams to fulfill, and accomplishments to achieve.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. [Romans 8:38-39]
All of us want to go to heaven don’t we? But let’s be honest: not everything about heaven seems that enticing, does it? For example, if all we do in heaven is sing to the Lord—sure, it’s a good thing—won’t it get a bit boring, especially for those of us who aren’t that great at singing?
For anyone who has ever wondered if that was how Jesus was like as a boy, The Young Messiah, an American biblical drama, addresses this very question, presenting a fresh and interesting take on a seven-year-old Jesus.
Stories have been a part of my life since I was a kid. Before I could read, my grandpa and my mum used to read them to me. When I was old enough to read on my own, I would be found in the company of books for hours.
Christianity is simple, isn’t it? After all, don’t Bible bits like John 3:16 show that all you need to do to be a Christian is to believe in God now and then you’ll go to heaven (good place) rather than hell (bad place) when you die?
How do you remember a loved one who has passed away? For some, it could be through their daily conversations as they recall fond memories, while for others, it could be through mementos such as photographs.
Darkness. We encounter it every day—when we sleep, when night falls, or when we simply close our eyes. Yet, there’s something about darkness that we dread. It speaks of the unknown, it engulfs us, and it grips us with fear.
My inspiration behind this diagonal cross is from Rembrandt’s painting “Elevation of the Cross”.
This scene depicts men stretching their body to lift up the unbearable weight of the cross, with the chief priest, teachers of the law and elders standing at the right sneering. On the left, the disciples are grieving.
May this new unique perspective renew our appreciation of what Christ did for us. (Matthew 27:32) (John 19:17)
