Giving and sharing is one way we manage well what God has given us. It keeps us from hoarding and storing up things for “just in case” scenarios that betray our trust in material things rather than in God.

When we don’t have much to spare, we may think, “Would this small thing I can give now even count?” Yes, God will make it count if we do it with gladness and trust Him to multiply our efforts.
