When we face a recurring struggle in our lives and we wonder why, it may be because every time it surfaces, we choose to run or hide instead of facing it head on. So it keeps coming back to haunt us.

Every trial we encounter, we have a choice to either persevere by trusting Jesus and seeking His patience to overcome, or give in to grumbling, anger, and distrust. If we always choose the latter, we will have endured the trials for nothing. So let’s choose patience and trust, so that God’s work of maturing us will be completed.
