Polluted Soul

Title: Polluted Soul
Materials: Digital Design
Description: “Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.” – John 2:15

The colorful lines represent the desires of the world that call out to us us and draw us in. The closer we stare at these lines, the word “Jesus” gradually fades out. The further we are from them, the clearer the word “Jesus” is.

Similarly, the more we obsess over and value the worldly desires around us, the easier it is to lose sight of Jesus in our lives.

I am a graphic design graduate, currently working with various advertising agencies and design consultant firms in Malaysia. Over the years, I’ve been blessed to have the opportunity to be involved in a number of international and local art exhibitions as curator and featured artist, and have had the privilege to see my work exhibited in Athens, Greece and Moscow, Russia.

I used to do art for myself commercially but since I’ve received Christ into my life, I’ve been challenged to see art differently. My journey with God began when I was going through a difficult time when I was 15 (I was a Buddhist then). God showed Himself to me and I accepted Christ a few years later. Since then, I desire to share my life story and walk with Christ to the world through my pieces. In my art, I hope to serve Him by sharing His glory and love to others, and also disciple other artists who want to do the same.
