    1)

    The fear of being damned forever.
    It’s the greatest fear of all. Of offending God, and immediately dying in hell.

    The fear of offending God. again.

      I have the same fear, most of the time. The only time I’m NOT afraid is when I read His holy Word. I know that the devil uses fear to scare us so much, that we don’t have a moment to enjoy the blessings of God, our Father. The enemy wants us to die in any way possible. Fear is one of his tactics. But we cannot fear anything, because then we lose touch with Jesus. He wants us to “cast all our cares upon Him,” and enjoy the life he blesses us with. There’s no other way. We have to “Put on the whole armor of God,” which, I recently found out, includes a pair of “shoes of peace.” If we can forgive, and Love God with all our hearts, minds, and souls, whilst also loving our neighbor as ourselves, then we are okay. 🙂 God bless you. <3 Bridgitte

      Daniel says:

      I believe that to fear God, of offending Him, is normal. It’s not from the Devil.

      The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. (Psalms 110:10)

      The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Fools despise wisdom and instruction. (Proverbs 1:7)

      The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is prudence. (Proverbs 9:10)

      The fear of the Lord is holy, enduring for ever and ever: the judgments of the Lord are true, justified in themselves. (Psalms 18:10)

      The fruit of humility is the fear of the Lord, riches and glory and life. (Proverbs 22:4)

      You can google “fear of the Lord”.

      Thanks for sharing. Yup, to fear the Lord is a good thing. Godly fear springs forth from obedience and as we walk closer with Jesus, we learn to fear Him more. The fear of the Lord is unlike any other fear and does not bring torment but peace.
      He has shown you, O man, what is good;
      And what does the Lord require of you
      But to do justly,To love mercy,And to walk humbly with your God?(micah 6:8)
      And because Jesus died on the cross for us,
      and paid the price for our sins, we can rejoice in the Lord always(philipians 4:4)Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus(ROMANS 8:1) I have a whole lot of (ungodly) fears, but I know that though I am weak, He is strong. (:

    Fear of rejection…I realized that I could get over it only when I stop trying to impress people or gain their acceptance, and focus on pleasing my heavenly Father.
